Leave the cooking to the guys today --Two Guys Cooking BBQ & More, that is. This casual, dine-in or carryout eatery, located at the American Legion in Mascoutah, next to Prairie Lake, specializes in taste-tempting ribs and pulled pork and chicken. The "two guys," friends David Sonsoucie and Ed Alberty, opened the restaurant last spring after receiving many requests for their dry-rubbed barbeque meats, served up with two special sauces. And the menu isn't limited to barbeque. Other offerings include deli sandwiches, burgers, three styles of chicken wings, and fried chicken, cod or catfish. All meals also come with a choice of side items ranging from baked beans, potato salad and red beans and rice to sweet and sour cole slaw, French fries, macaroni and cheese and macaroni salad.
